Battle Report: A Chaos Victory

On a rainy Saturday afternoon, Chaos showed up to fight. We had never used points before, so we decided to use www.scrollbuilder.com.  Using the Pool method, we took 11 points each. I felt totally out-matched, but the game was close. The good part was that after the game I read the stats again to see if I could find an edge; there were a few abilities I missed.

Here is how the game unfolded:

Warhounds began moving to attack my right flank

Skullcrushers began moving to attack my left flank

A giant, backed by chaos warriors, began a frontal assault

I quickly moved to isolate the giant and kill him with 5 squig hoppers and two trolls. It worked.

Chaos brought both flanks into the centre to kill my hoppers and trolls, as seen in the next three photos.

One troll retreated and ran back to the Night Goblin line.

The skullcrushers with support by marauders and Wulfrik the Wanderer charged Skarsnick and Gobbla. The night goblins rushed into help Skarsnick and Gobbla but the Warlord of the Eight Peaks was slain anyway.

Night goblins made a valiant effort to keep fighting but they died in droves before finally conceding.
